Infraserv Höchst, based in Frankfurt am Main, is a leading service provider and complete site operator for the chemical and pharmaceutical industries. Known in full as Infraserv GmbH & Co. Höchst KG, it supplies companies in the process industry with products and services in the fields of energy, facility management, environmental protection, safety and waste disposal.
The Infraserv Höchst Group has some 2700 employees. In 2006, Infraserv Höchst, including the subsidiaries, posted about 729 million euros in revenues.
Using innovative technologies to supply energy is one Infraserv Höchst's aims. Thanks to the ready availability of hydrogen in Frankfurt-Höchst Industrial Park, the company has begun setting up a hydrogen supply system and using a fuel-cell cogeneration plant. As co-founder of the Hessen Hydrogen and Fuel Cells Initiative, Infraserv Höchst will also participate in new projects in the future. The current project is called "Zero Regio."
